Dear Lura, Robert and I would like to express our appreciation for the many activities you have going on at Westbrook Assisted Living and Memory Care. We enjoyed the special Christmas dinner you provided for the families of the residents. It was nice to get to see all the employees that care for the needs of our loved ones that evening. Thanks for the special outings you take the residents on in our county and beyond. Robert’s mother thoroughly enjoyed her trip back to Hardin County, which brought back many pleasant memories she had experienced in the past years. Thanks for all you do to make it seem like home. – Robert and Rosella B.
For all the Staff at Westbrook: Thanks and Gratitude for every caring act of kindness you show our Mother everyday! – The Family of Carol M.

Dear Lura: I want to thank you for exemplary patience and kindness offered to my mother. I am more than keenly aware of the task you have in dealing with her. I also want to take this opportunity to express our observation that the supervision at the Inn has greatly improved. – Thank you, Bob B.
Westbrook Assisted Living and Memory Care is not a facility where Dad lives, it is home! Our family visits Dad often, and we are always greeted and warmly welcomed by the staff. They and other residetns have become a second family for Dad and for us as well. With the passing of time and the professional care he has received at Westbrook, Dad is much more healthy and able to enjoy visiting with his neighbors and taking part in social activities and outings. When Dad was residing in other facilities, I would think of him often throughout the day and wonderif he was getting the care he needed. I still think of him often each day, but I never worry any more. I know he is happy in his home and that he well cared for and loved. Dad often remarks that all the nurses and staff are nice and that he likes living here at Westbrook. Our family is so blessed that Dad is doing Well. We are grateful for his home and for all those who care for him. – Anne K-M.
Dear Brittiny and Linda: Thank you so much for your monetary donation toward our art studio in Carey. All your efforts in holding a bake sale with your residents to raise money for this cause is amazing and so appreciated! The money will be of great use for art supplies and needed display items as we continue in this exciting new adventure of opening an art studio/gallery in Wyandot Co. Thank you and God Bless you in your generosity. – Terri Long (Angleine School and Industries; Upper Sandusky, OH)
Dear Residents and Directors, Thank you for allowing us to come out for bingo and pizza! Along with the other FFA members, I have enjoyed meeting and spending time with all of you! Many people do not have the opportunity for these activities. It has been a great experience for all of us and we look forward to coming back soon. We all have enjoyed the activities. The pizza made was extremely good. Bingo was really fun too! If there is anything you would like us to do, we would be happy to come back for more good times. Thank you for everything, and we look forward to coming back. – Sincerely Sierra Miller (Upper Sandusky FFA)
To the staff of Westbrook: I want to express my deepest appreciation for all the kindness that you gave to my mother, Kathryn. The Department of Health determines the criteria for entrance into assisted living communities. The staff at Westbrook as well as the resident’s primary care physician work together to determine eligibility. What happens when a resident needs a higher level of care?
If a higher level of care is required for residents in our assisted living community, we will work closely with the resident and their family to ensure suitable and appropriate placement.
Do we accept Medicaid or Medicare?
We do accept a limited amount of Medicaid residents based on availability and we do accept Long-Term Care Insurance. We also assist our residents/families in accessing Veterans Administration Aid and Attendance Benefits, however, please note that Medicare does not pay for assisted living.
