Scranton, PA, October 19, 2017, Oakwood Terrace and Premier Senior Living sponsored an evening reception and panel discussion on Alzheimer’s disease, caregiving, and the latest Alzheimer’s research. The event was hosted by Bright Focus Foundation at the Scranton Cultural Center and featured Kim Campbell, wife of legendary country music star Glen Campbell who brought awareness to Alzheimer’s disease in his documentary film: Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me.

The event hosted by Bright Focus Foundation brought in local experts from the Scranton area including Janine Starinsky, MHA, CDP, CDCM, CADDCT, Executive Director of Oakwood Terrace Memory Care. The event was a success that merged the expertise of Premier Senior Living Group members with other local experts to make a well-informed event that connected with people in the local community.
Premier Senior Living’s purpose in sponsoring this event was to connect Oakwood Terrace and its residents with the local community and to bring greater awareness to the lives of those caring for a loved one living with Alzheimer’s disease.
