Change of seasons brings change of activities

Beginning in November we added 4 new programs to activities. They include cooking, hand weights, Music n’ Motion, and chair Zumba. We are also getting our residents directly involved in decorating and preparations for big events. The residents had a blast preparing the Trick or Treat bags and over 50% of our residents participated. We also converted our “Friends & Family Tree” to our “Thanksgiving Tree of Gratitude”. This was accomplished by printing out acorns and having the residents write what they are grateful for upon them. The acorns were then stapled over the oak leaves. As you can see in the picture, it turned out beautiful and once again we had a significant amount of participation from our residents. Christmas should be fun!
